Steam accepts external streams over RTMP. Broadcasting on a game's store page also requires Steamworks permissions and setup. Source: official Steam stream setup.

For example, two seconds at 30 FPS is 60 frames. The guide warns that an incorrect keyframe interval can prevent a stream from starting.
