Stream settings and placeholders
Open Settings → Streaming for the intended project. This page contains the stream key, ingest servers, disconnect protection and stream placeholders. See Start broadcasting for encoder setup.
Key and server
Copy the server address and key into your broadcasting application. Choose RTMP or SRT according to the application's support. Ping and speed tests help compare available servers.
Update key changes the project's connection credentials. Replace the old key in every source that should continue broadcasting. Do not share it with viewers or use another project's key.
Disconnect protection
Enable Disconnect protection and use the slider to set how long to wait for the source to reconnect. The displayed maximum depends on the project's settings; it is not a fixed 60-minute limit for everyone. The switch saves immediately; the time saves when you release the slider. See Disconnect protection.
Placeholders
Lost connection and pause use separate placeholders. Click View all in the relevant block. Select an available file, or upload an image or video if your plan allows custom placeholders.
The upload dialog lists formats, a 300 MB limit and a video duration limit of 30 seconds. Wait for processing, select the file and click Save. Selecting a list item without saving does not replace the current placeholder.
Your plan limits the number of custom placeholders. Editable files offer rename and delete actions. A file currently used for pause or lost connection cannot be deleted: select a replacement first. These short files are separate from scheduler videos.
Record to storage
Save broadcast to storage appears when your account has the required access and saves immediately when toggled. If a dedicated server address is shown alongside it, follow that address in the interface. Check My videos for the recording once processing finishes.
